The fabulous “Calypso Craze” box from Bear Family will be in the shops in a couple of days – the set includes a big, fat and colorful book with mondo Calypso: lots of rare photos, even rarer record sleeves and curious magazine articles.

We’ve been busy the last couple of months with the “Complete Chuck Berry” box; this is now being manufactured and will be released in October. More details to follow soon… and here’s a pack shot:

Cover illustrations were created by Reinhard Kleist, who (you may remember) also did a series of beautiful drawings for Bear Family’s Hank Snow CDs.

We also finished two books for a November release – it’s the return of Bear Family Books!

And finally, a wonderful foreword for the Chuck Wagon Gang landed on our wooden desk, written by the Zelig of Country Music, Mr. Marty Stuart. Thanks Marty!
